Star2Star Named to IHS Infonetics Top 10 North America Cloud UC Providers

In a report released this week, IHS Infonetics (NYSE: IHS) has named Star2Star Communications, makers of the World’s Most Scalable Cloud Communications Solution, as a Top 10 Cloud Business UC Provider for the second year in a row.
In the report, Cloud UC Service Provider North America Scorecard, Star2Star is ranked in the top 10 of North American hosted VoIP providers. The ranking is based on an aggregate score of five factors, including installed base, financial stability, market strategy, service development, and support options.
“We’re very pleased to have been recognized again this year,” said Norman Worthington, CEO of Star2Star. “This has been a year of mergers and consolidation for many of our competitors. While they were regrouping, we’ve been continuing our 10-year streak of rapid organic growth,” he continued.
Star2Star rated well across the board and especially high on market strategy, service development and support delivery. In the report, Infonetics notes that Star2Star “has had particular success in the mid-market with multi-locations with a strong presence in the retail space.” The report also notes that Star2Star has had a “growing interest from larger business.”
Star2Star’s channel-based sales strategy is also cited in the report as a key to the company’s ongoing success.
